I am the second of six children born to the late Elder Alvin E. Bailey, Sr., and Dr. I. L. Bailey.  I was born in Temple, Texas, October 30, 1950 and attended Meredith/Dunbar Jr./ Sr. High School.   I graduated from Temple High School in 1969 in the top 10% of my class. 

I attended Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas graduating in 1972 with a B.S. in Biology.  I completed medical technology internship at the UT Health Science Center at Dallas in 1973 with a certificate and B. S.  I was certified and licensed by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) in 1974. 

I have one son, Edward and he is married to April. 

I attended the Institute for Teaching God’s Word Theological Seminary (ITGW), Rockdale, Texas and was in the first graduating class of 1992 with a Bachelors in Biblical Studies.  Then in 1997, I received a Masters of Biblical Studies.  I was also certified as a Theological Teacher in that same year. In 1998, I received a Doctorate of Ministry through the Minnesota Graduate School of Theology, cum laude.  After completing the required courses, I was certified as a Crisis Counselor in 1999.   In 2000, I completed a Doctorate of Philosophy from Minnesota Graduate School of Theology, summa cum laude. 

I was licensed as a Missionary of the Gospel in 2001 and ordained in 2002. 

I returned to teach at ITGW after completing the Masters Degree program.  I am the Dean of Admissions as well as an instructor. 

I worked as a medical technologist for more than 33 years.  The last 21 years of that career I spent as the Supervisor of the Microbiology Section of the Laboratory at the Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System in Temple, Texas.  I retired on July 28, 2006.

I am a musician, singer and praise worshiper.  I have worked all my life in my home church and hold the position of Minister of music for more than 40 years.

I am presently teaching Anatomy & Physiology and Health Science Technology at Temple High School in Temple, Texas.  

I am a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant.

My mission is to reach the lives of as many as I can where ever I am with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
