Dr. Clara Brooks is the co-founder of New Jerusalem Interdenominational Church, Institute for Teaching God’s Word Theological Seminary, and the American Academy of Crisis Counseling, She is also Vice President of The Institute for Teaching God’s Word and the American Academy of Crisis Counseling. She has worked beside her Husband in helping to establish learning institutions in Southern California, Washington State, as well as Europe and Dominica.
Dr. Clara Brooks attended Aycock High School in Rockdale, TX, graduating in 1963 with honors. She received a 1 year Certificate in Biblical Studies from Rhema Bible Training Center. She studied data processing at ElCentro College in Dallas, TX. Attended Mary Hardin Baylor, studying Psychology and Religion. She is a Certified Family Clinical Therapist through the American Academy of Clinical Family Therapist, and has a DMin in Biblical Studies from Minnesota Graduate School of Theology. She is certified Faith-based counselor through Therapon Faith-Based Counseling School. She has training in Behavior Management/Behavior Disorder, Marriage & Family Life as well as Therapeutic Foster Care training.
Dr. Clara Brooks is a licensed and ordained Minister of the Gospel. She has work in all phases of the ministry.
She has taught the Pentateuch at ITGW Seminary, and presently teaches Spiritual Protocol.
She married Dr. D. L. Brooks on July 4, 1963. They have 4 grown son, 12 grand children and one great grandson.
